Flamingo flower (Anthurium a.) In 12cm pots

The flamingo flower is a popular flowering houseplant, available in almost every garden centre. 

Its flowers are very durable, excellent for cut flowers, bouquets, and table decorations. They remain beautiful and fresh for weeks even when cut. The flowers are initially smaller, growing larger as the plant ages. Over the years, a single flamingo flower plant will produce not only larger but also more flowers.

The purchased plant must always be repotted to ensure its long-term survival indoors. We recommend repotting them into a larger pot or container so they feel comfortable in a heated home and do not wilt. It is also important not to forget to mist them (with water)!

Interesting facts

Its native land is the tropical regions and rainforests of Central and South America. Its flower is a spadix inflorescence surrounded by a so-called spathe or bract, which is typically solid red, white, or pink.

Usage

Its care and maintenance are not too complicated, and its flowers last a long time, making it a popular gift.

Store between 16-20°C.
