Its rich taste experience is also due to essential oils and other elements derived from the fruit and its peel.
Producer information
The original Schweppes recipe was invented in Switzerland in 1783. After the invention of the drink, the Schweppes Company was founded, but later moved to London, where it soon supplied its drink to the royal palace. It was the official drink of the 1851 London World's Fair, so the fountain in the Crystal Palace has become part of the Schweppes logo.
