When composing the ingredients of the Wellness bun, the Jókenyér master bakers primarily kept in mind the preservation of our health. This is how sunflower seeds, oatmeal, rye and soy flakes got into the buns, the latter of which comes from controlled, 100% GMO-free soy. Oats are a fibre-rich digestive stimulant that provides long-lasting energy. By consuming oilseeds, we take a big step towards the health of our heart and circulatory system. Wholemeal rye flour, which is a defining ingredient of our wellness bun, is the basis of a healthy diet. This is because flour milled from rye contains less fat and carbohydrates, and more minerals than lighter-coloured wheat flour. Rye, which is rich in fibre, has a beneficial physiological effect on the human body.

Jókenyér started as a family business and has been working for 27 years to ensure that fresh, sourdough, additive-free bakery products are on the table of as many people as possible. They pay special attention to making their breads and bakery products from 100% natural ingredients. They believe that what is needed for good bread is the gift of nature and the heart and soul of the baker. This is why they avoid flavour enhancers, additives and colourings. To this day, they work with the same sourdough that they brought home from Baden-Baden almost 30 years ago with the aim of creating the foundations of the German "Brotkultur", which is part of the world heritage, in Hungary. In addition to traditional wheat sourdough, Jókenyér also uses rye sourdough and sourdough made from wholemeal wheat and rye, for which the grain is freshly milled in their own mill. This ensures the freshness and taste of their breads.
