"I am Róbert Kordás, founding manager of robioFARM Kft., and an agricultural engineer. In our family organic farm, we have been cultivating organic potatoes for twenty years in the Kiskunság sand dunes, on the northern border of Kiskunhalas. Our initial determination and the production experience accumulated since then all serve to ensure that those who buy our potatoes can truly consume 'the healthy goodness of the earth' every day.

Potatoes play an important role in our diet as an ingredient for many particularly healthy and enjoyable dishes, side dishes, and as a base for babies' initial complementary feeding – so it matters where and how they are produced before they reach our table. In our farm, organic farming is carried out chemical-free, under conditions controlled by a certifying body. To suppress pests and pathogens, potatoes are only returned to the same growing area every 4 years at the earliest. To ensure that the potatoes feel good in the soil and develop healthily, we stimulate the soil life that provides nutrients for the plant exclusively with organic and mineral substances, and by incorporating green manure plants sown in the years preceding the potatoes into the soil. At the end of the production process, we strive to ensure the best quality through gentle harvesting and careful manual selection.
