Serving Suggestion - Cherry-Oatmeal Muffin

• Preparation time: 30 minutes
• Ingredients for 12 muffins: ½ jar Rege Pitted Sour Cherry Compote, 180 g plain flour, 80 g rolled oats, 2 tsp baking powder, 0.5 tsp baking soda, 0.25 tsp salt, 1 egg, 200 ml milk, 100 g sugar, 60 ml sunflower oil, 1 sachet vanilla sugar.

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Line the muffin tin with paper liners.
3. Mix the flour and oats with baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. In another bowl, combine the egg with sugar, vanilla sugar, milk, and oil, then gradually add and mix with the flour mixture.
5. Fold in the sour cherries. Spoon the batter into the liners, then sprinkle a little extra rolled oats on top.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
