Ostoros Birtok Egri Bag-in-Box Rosé Wine

The liveliness of May cherries comes to life in this semi-dry rosé. When tasted, it is just as crispy, sweet and juicy as when you bite into a ripe, beautiful, large-eyed cherry. It is also accompanied by a little vanilla-almond flavour.

• Made from Pinot Noir, Merlot, Kékfrankos, Blauburger, Zweigelt, Syrah, Kékoportó grapes.

What is bag-in-box packaging?
This packaging is an environmentally friendly solution because it is made of mostly recyclable materials, reduces packaging material requirements, and is optimal from a transport and storage point of view. According to the latest research, its production generates half as much carbon dioxide and 85% less industrial waste than traditional glass. In addition, it preserves the freshness of the wine for a long time, increasing its shelf life even after opening.

Product information

1. Open the perforated section on the side of the box.
2. Lift out the tap and fit it to the box.
3. Tear off the aluminium safety seal.
4. Press the button on the tap and pour out the wine.

Producer information
Ostorosbor is the largest winery in the Eger Wine Region, so many consumers choose their products first from the wine region. This is why they pay special attention to quality, but they also want to set an example in environmental awareness. This is one of the reasons why they decided to offer their wines in bag-in-box packaging.

Their winery has been making Eger wine in Ostoros for more than 50 years, in this village located just 6 kilometres from Eger. They preserve traditions and look to the future. The tradition is represented by their centuries-old Kutyahegyi cellar, which bears the date of its final construction, 1842, on its facade, while the development is represented by their show cellar, which they opened in the Szépasszony Valley in Eger in 2015.
