The original "Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey" has been made by the same family since 1795, for generations, using the same method. The world's most popular bourbon is made from at least 51% corn and fresh, iron-free Kentucky spring water. It is filled into freshly burnt oak barrels, where it matures for 4 years in the characteristic, multi-storey "Rackhouse" to become a very special drink, and thus gains the long-lasting and varied taste that makes it so unmistakable. Its colour is orange-reddish. Its taste initially reveals the characteristic bourbon character, in which the sweet vanilla and caramel effects dominate. This is later followed by discreet oaky notes and a mild spiciness.
