These loose Hungarian Jonaprince apples are delicious eaten on their own and work wonderfully in applesauce, fruit salads, or baked apple pie. Harvested in mid-October, this variety reaches peak eating maturity after a couple of months in storage and keeps well for around 5 to 6 months. Store them in a cool, dry place between 6 and 8 °C.
