  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 50 ml oil
  • 3 cloves garlic

PREPARATION

    First, prepare the garlic oil. Pour the water and oil into a small bowl, add the grated garlic, mix it, and let it sit.

    For the dough, dissolve the sugar in 3.5 dl of water, crumble in the yeast, and let it activate.

    Mix the salt into the flour, add the activated yeast water, and knead the dough thoroughly. When it's smooth, drizzle the top with one tablespoon of oil, then cover it with a kitchen towel and place it in a warm spot to double in size (approx. 30-40 minutes).

    Once the dough has risen, form loaves of desired size with oiled hands, then stretch the edges to shape the lángos and fry both sides in hot oil until golden brown.

    Serve with garlic oil, sour cream, and grated cheese, according to taste.
