A major player in the chocolate bar market, Tibi chocolate has been present on the Hungarian market for more than 70 years. In 1941, chocolate lovers were first able to take the well-known and popular Tibi chocolate - which was named after the grandson of the factory founder - off the shelves of shops. The ribbed chocolate, which was primarily intended for children, was available in 2.5 and 5 dkg sizes, which were advertised with posters saying "Tibi is not only mom's favorite". Thanks to the extensive advertising campaign, the brand, which was becoming increasingly popular with adults both nationwide and abroad, soon had to change its original advertising slogan to "Tibi is not only children's favorite". After nationalization, Tibi was one of the few products that remained in Bonbonetti Kft.'s product range to this day.

Over the past 70 years, Tibi's shape and packaging have changed a lot, and the range has been expanded with many new products, as a result of which it has become one of the most popular chocolate brands. For example, the chocolate bars produced in 1 year could cover 15 standard football fields or, if stacked on top of each other, could build a tower reaching the top of Mount Everest.
