Ben & Jerry's was founded in 1978 by two ex-hippies: Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield in Burlington, Vermont. The two friends opened their first shop in a renovated gas station after completing an incredibly expensive ($5) "How to Make Ice Cream?" distance learning course and acquiring slightly more expensive equipment. It didn't take long for people to fall in love with the creations of the two eccentrics, made from fresh Vermont milk and cream, and ingredients perfectly suited to their taste of the day. Although Ben and Jerry often argued about different flavours, they always agreed that (besides money) they were in the business to have fun. Or as Jerry said: "If it's not fun, why do it?"

Store frozen at -18°C or lower. Do not refreeze after thawing!
