Grey Goose vodka is made with a five-fold distillation, from excellent French winter wheat, from the Massive Central spring water, and with the ancient science of cognac making. Crystal clear and soft, with dry cereal notes and a silky smooth finish. As early as 1996, in the first year of production, the Chicago Spirit Testing Institute named it "the world's finest vodka" and in the same year it won the Platinum Award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Grey Goose is also available in 2 flavoured versions: lemon, orange. The company was founded in 1862 by the Spanish-born Don Facundo Bacardi Masso in Santiago de Cuba. In 1877, the company won its first gold medal at the World Exhibition in Spain for its quality.
