Feind Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Reductive sauvignon blanc, with new world style notes. Its aroma is of freshly cut grass, nettle, while its taste combines crispy acids with citrus flavours. We recommend it with fish dishes, marinated roasts, but it is also worth trying with goat cheese.

Producer information

In 1995, Lajos Feind founded the winery when he bought 14 hectares of vineyards on the shore of Lake Balaton. This is where viticulture started and he continued this in the direction of the winery. In 20 years, he expanded his vineyards to 130 hectares. Most of the vineyards are located on Öreg-hegy in Balatonfőkajár, in addition to which they also have areas in Balatonvilágos, Balatonaliga and Balatonfüred, so all their plantations belong to the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region.

In January 2019, Lajos Feind entrusted the management of the winery to his son, Zoltán Feind, and to the managing director, István Bacskai. According to the new managers, the winery had long outgrown itself, so they dreamed up a 2000 m2 winery on the border of Balatonfőkajár. This was a complete investment, so everything from grape processing to presses, and from the bottling plant is now in one place.

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark, closed place, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
