Angyal Ámor - Late Harvest - Decorated Sweet White Wine 2022

This late harvest Tokaji is not called Ámor (Cupid) by accident. In addition to its high residual sugar content, its aroma has notes of compote and pear, while its taste reveals a multitude of dried fruits. No sweet wine lover can resist it.

Excellent as an aperitif, but also ideal with light fish or poultry dishes.

Serving suggestion

Serve slightly chilled, at 10-12°C.

Producer information

Rátka Tokaj is the world's first closed wine region. The special protection was provided by a royal decree issued in 1737, which precisely regulated which wines from which areas could be called Tokaji. The area, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage, includes a total of 27 settlements and 6,000 hectares of vineyards. Tokaj-Hegyalja is considered to be among the world's best wine regions due to the fortunate combination of unique bedrock, soil and climate.

The history of Angyal Winery and Vineyards began in the 1940s, when Ernő Angyal founded his own small winery. He worked diligently on his one-hectare estate, and aged the wines in an ancient, three-branched cellar on the Alsópincesor in Szerencs. The winery is now run by the founder's grandson.

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark place, out of the reach of children, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
