The base of Tiltott Csíki Ginger Chili Beer is the 6% alcohol Bock type (lager) Tiltott Csíki Beer, which has been refreshing, nourishing and cheering for years. Knowing the beneficial effects of Tiltott Csíki Beer, adding ginger-chili pulp, we got a very special, weaker 4.2% alcohol refreshing elixir. Thanks to the ginger and chili, our drink has a digestive effect, helps heart function and strengthens the immune system.

Producer information
The first written mention of Csíki brewing dates back to 1548, in the work of Jesuit monk Antonio Possevino della Compagnia di Gesù entitled Transilvania, published in 1584: "All of these (the priests living in Csík - editor's note) indulging in drunkenness, where the regular drink is limited to beer, are so ignorant that they cannot even write their names correctly."

The old traditions were revived in 2014, when in Csíkszentsimon the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania and a local master brewer started to brew the Real Csíki Beer based on old recipes. By following the Bavarian purity recipe, Csíki Beer, without modern chemical ingredients, is a worthy successor to the traditions.
