About the manufacturer

The Kőbánya brewery, opened in 1854, became Hungary's first brewery that is still in operation today – as a factory of Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt. In the mid-19th century, Antal Dreher introduced bottom-fermentation beer technology and developed a new type of beer: Lagerbier. He later earned the honorary title "Beer King" thanks to this, and it became the foundation of the excellent Dreher beers.

From the very beginning, Dreher achieved success at numerous international fairs and exhibitions, including winning a gold medal at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition. Members of the product family regularly receive prestigious recognition at international beer competitions.
