OliVchicken - Chicken Strips

The strips are made from unique chicken, fed with a mixture of corn and virgin olive oil. The pieces are breaded and heat-treated. They are not made from minced meat and do not contain skin.

OliVchicken is a unique product inspired by Mediterranean gastronomy. It includes a 100% plant-based diet, containing 55% corn and 2% Greek virgin olive oil! The mixture of olive oil and corn gives the skin and meat a golden colour, in addition to excellent taste and texture.

Preparation

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes, or pan-fry the chicken breast strips in a non-stick pan for 5-7 minutes.

Producer Information

The history of OliVchicken dates back to the 1960s, when the company's owners, the Aggelakis family, began raising chickens for their own consumption. They soon noticed that the animals pecking at the fruit of the olive trees on the family estate were much more energetic, healthier, and their meat became more tender and tastier. Based on this experience and later scientific research - which confirmed the beneficial effects of olive oil on chicken development - the company began to introduce olive oil as a new, unique form of chicken nutrition. The meat of OliVchicken chickens has been officially recognized according to EU regulations for its meat quality and high selenium content, which contributes to the healthy functioning of the human body - especially in developing children.
