Serving Suggestion - Plum Sponge Cake

• Preparation time: 90 minutes
• Ingredients: 250g margarine, 250g sugar, 4 eggs, 1 packet baking powder, 250g flour, 1 jar Rege Plum Compote, 2 tsp cinnamon, butter, flour.

Preparation

1. Cream together the soft margarine and sugar, then add the eggs one by one.
2. Mix the baking powder and flour, then add to the egg mixture.
3. Pour into a buttered, floured baking tray lined with baking paper at the bottom, arrange the halved, pitted plums on top, and sprinkle with a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for approx. 50-60 minutes. A skewer test is necessary!
