Kápia pepper is a bright red, thick-fleshed, firm pepper variety. It is harvested when fully ripe, is not prone to wilting, and retains its elasticity for a long time. It owes its unique flavor and taste to its high sugar content. Kápia contains a lot of vitamin C, so its consumption is very healthy.

Interesting fact

It is a vegetable native to South and Central America, and there are many varieties of it. Pepper, with the Latin name Capsicum annuum, belongs to the nightshade family and is a distant relative of tomatoes and potatoes. It has been known in Hungary since the 16th century, and Hungarian growers have made the long, pointed type known worldwide as a spice.

Usage

Excellent choice for grilling and making stuffed peppers, on its own, even as a snack with some delicious sauce. It is also an excellent choice for making salads on warm summer days.
