The history of Dr. Oetker dates back to 1891: this is when pharmacist Dr. August Oetker experimented with the baking powder that is now considered a classic. The company's headquarters are still located in Bielefeld, but Dr. Oetker products are available in 40 countries around the world outside Germany.
