Visiting various bakeries, they realised that those true, homemade flavours that only grandma knew and that they always longed for, have almost completely disappeared. That's why they recalled times from generations ago to find the solution in the basics. After all, what could have a greater impact on pastries than their very foundation, the dough itself? The authentic homemade taste was provided by blundel, which is a leavened puff pastry spread with butter.
