Visiting various bakeries, they realized that the true, homemade tastes that only grandma knew and that they always longed for have almost completely disappeared. Therefore, they recalled times from generations ago to find the solution in the basics. After all, what could have a greater impact on pastries than their very foundation, the dough itself? The authentic homemade taste was provided by the 'blundel', a butter-coated puff pastry dough.
