A home version of one of Cafe Frei's most successful coffee shop recipes. The tobacco-coffee reveals the spicy, smoky, Latin flavours of Nicaragua in your cup. The drink's original 'inventors' soaked tobacco leaves in juicy grated apple, from which they cooked a creamy essence after a day of resting. The coffee beans must be rolled in this thick cream so that each bean absorbs the exotic tobacco flavour and unique aroma.

Cafe Frei was founded by two friends: Novelist Tamás Frei, a former TV globetrotter who has visited over 150 countries in recent decades and passionately loves coffee and its associated world; and Tamás Langár, an economist and food industry entrepreneur, who, with over 30 years of experience, supports the network's operation from a business perspective.

The first CAFE FREI coffee house opened in Hungary in April 2007, and since then, their coffee house Franchise network has been continuously expanding. Today, they have grown into the country's largest coffee house chain. Thanks to their unique Franchise system, 2013 brought them an international breakthrough when they opened their first Central European cafés. Since then, they operate cafés from France all the way to Dubai. Including in countries considered exotic, such as Saudi Arabia.
