Bányai Cup of Excellence Geisha speciality whole bean coffee in a gift box 9*15g
Finca Bendicion (Blessing Estate) is located in Costa Rica on the northern side of the Lourdes valley at 1,450 meters, with the south-facing GEISHA parcel in its center. The Bendicion Geisha was harvested at 22-23 Brix, then the fruits were cleaned and pulped using the 'black honey' method without added water. pH reduction was facilitated by BIO-certified lactobacillus, then the inevitable fermentation process for coffee was carried out for 96 hours in food-grade stainless steel tanks under naturally developing CO2 pressure, using organic wild yeasts selected from the area, ensuring maximum hygiene and a stable process. Subsequently, the beans were repeatedly washed with clean water and dried on raised beds for 18 days, then, for aroma balance, a 1.5 month 'reposado' resting maturation was applied in parchment. Thanks to the controlled and hygienic conditions, the coffee remains wonderfully clean even after 30 minutes of brewing.
Bányai Speciality Coffee Concept's Cup of Excellence finalist Bendicion Geisha coffee is a perfect example of how cultivation and processing can be effectively influenced from the perspective of the consumer and the barista profession, through the high-level professional coordination of natural processes.
Our coffee's 2025 Cup of Excellence result proves that the modern fusion of science and tradition holds great potential.
