Borsodi Brewery has been an indispensable player in Hungarian beer culture for over 50 years. The brewery started beer production in 1973 at its brewing house in Bőcs, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. The original brewing facility now operates as a visitor center, where beer lovers can admire former technologies and equipment, learn about Borsodi's nearly half-century history, the brewing processes, and also participate in a memorable beer tasting. With continuous technological innovations and the use of high-quality raw materials, the company keeps pace with current beer market trends and strives for continuous development. Borsodi introduced the first domestic non-alcoholic beer and was the first to use KEG barrels. Furthermore, Borsodi was the first to appear on the Hungarian market with canned packaging, and the first widely available flavored product family, Borsodi Friss, is also associated with its name. In recent times, it has also made numerous innovations, not only in its brand image but also in its internal operational developments.
