INGREDIENTS
- 500 g pork loin
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 200 g all-purpose flour + 3 tablespoons for coating
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml light beer
- Salt
- Freshly ground mixed peppercorns
- Oil for frying
PREPARATION
- 1Cut the meat into two-finger-wide strips, salt, pepper, and add the marjoram, grated garlic, and paprika. Mix thoroughly and set aside while you prepare the batter.
- 2Add the egg and half of the beer to the flour, salt it, and whisk until smooth with a hand whisk, then thin with the remaining beer.
- 3Coat the seasoned meat first in flour, then in the batter. Fry both sides in hot oil until golden brown.
- 4Serve to taste with mashed potatoes, fresh salad, or pickles.
