It buds and blooms early, ripens in mid-September. It yields reliably. Its sugar content reaches 17 must degrees even in weaker vintages, and can exceed 20 degrees in good vintages. Producer information
Etyeki Kúria Winery was founded in 1996 on the Etyek Öreghegy with 2 hectares of vineyards. It soon became the leading winery of the wine region. Four years ago, a modern processing plant and a cozy wine tasting room were built above the 150-year-old Swabian cellar. Thanks to the vineyard plantations carried out in several stages in Alcsútdoboz, the production area has reached 27 hectares, and the plantation of another 5 hectares is in progress. The wine made from the Pinot Noir grape, which was the first to be planted in the Etyek – Buda wine region, has brought numerous world-class awards to the winery.
