1664 Rosé is a light wheat beer with notes reminiscent of red berries and a layered flavour profile. Its unique taste comes from the perfect harmony of two different dimensions:

• ITS PLAYFUL SIDE: A vibrant, crisp and refreshing wheat beer, full of exotic fruit notes, a hint of spice and the taste of red berries, making it slightly sweeter than 1664 Blanc.
• ITS ELEGANT SIDE: A sophisticated arrangement of selected hop varieties with a hint of coriander. The slight bitterness is balanced by notes of white peach and the sweetness of red berries. This complex yet easy-to-drink beer has the distinctive beer base of 1664 Blanc, complemented by vibrant red berry notes, which also give it a uniquely red haze.

About the Brand

Kronenbourg lager beer was born in France in 1664, in humble circumstances. Jerome Hatt brewed the first batch in a single barrel. Having just obtained his master brewer's diploma, he set up his own brasserie - or brewery - in the centre of Strasbourg, a stone's throw from the local cathedral.

Perhaps this is the only beer in the world named after a date. The Kronenbourg 1664 brewery was founded in 1952. What was the founders' desire? To brew the best possible beer. They started by selecting the best beer ingredients, such as the unique Strisselspalt hops. This original Alsatian beer is now France's number one premium lager, consumed in over 70 countries worldwide.

When the master brewers tasked with developing 1664 Blanc beer worked on the perfect recipe and continuously refined its taste, their goal was to add an unexpected twist, a little something that would make it special. They wanted to create a French wheat beer that was different from all others. One worthy of the original Kronenbourg brewery's name.
