100% Primitivo grapes from the Manduria area in Puglia. The estate is located in the municipality of Maruggio, and the grapes come from vines that are at least 60 years old, cultivated in the traditional "Alberello Pugliese" method. A very high yield restriction of 0.6 kg/vine is applied. The grapes are harvested late (mid-September), when the berries are slightly withered (appasimento). The grapes are carefully hand-picked before pressing. Aged for 10 months in small oak barrels. Deep ruby red color, purple rim, exotic spices, dark chocolate, incredible aromatic and flavor richness. On the palate, extraordinary balance, silky, soft tannins, raisins. Coffee, prunes, extremely long finish.

Masseria Borgo dei Trulli is an agricultural company that has purchased land in the best viticultural areas of Salento, in particular in the municipalities of Sava, Manduria and Maruggio in the province of Taranto, where it mainly cultivates Primitivo, Negroamaro, Vermentino and Malvasia bianca, Fiano, Sauvignon white and in the municipality of Guagnano, in the province of Lecce, where it produces Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes, the Salice Salentino doc.

Storage
