Product description

This traditional dough is made from eggs, flour, sugar and milk, sometimes flavoured (with orange peel, alcohol, etc.) and usually eaten sweet. Traditionally, the dough is prepared on a special tool, called a galetière or galettoire in Upper Brittany. The dough is spread out on a disc with a kind of small rake, variously called a rozell, rouable or raclette.

Tip

• Make a vanilla sauce, then place a pancake on a plate.
• Spread the sauce on the pancake, then add chopped fruit and place the next pancake on top.
• Layer until you run out.
• Finish with a pancake on top and pour the remaining sauce over it.
