INGREDIENTS
- pinch of salt
- 20 dkg ground walnuts
- 25 dkg butter
- 20 dkg powdered sugar
- 4 eggs
- zest of 1.5 lemons
- 20 dkg apricot jam
- Juice of half a lemon
- 20 dkg dark chocolate
- 25 dkg flour
- 1 packet baking powder
PREPARATION
- 1We start with the dough; I add the baking powder, salt, 10 dkg ground walnuts to the flour, and mix thoroughly.
- 2Cream the butter with the sugar, mix in the eggs, then the flour and walnut mixture, combine thoroughly and pour into a greased/floured Bundt cake tin.
- 3Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes. Baking time may vary per oven, perform a skewer test.
- 4For the filling, mix the remaining 10 dkg ground walnuts with the apricot jam and the freshly squeezed juice and zest of half a lemon. Use this mixture to fill the cooled Bundt cake.
- 5Drizzle the filled cake with melted chocolate and refrigerate for at least one hour.
