INGREDIENTS

  • pinch of salt
  • 20 dkg ground walnuts
  • 25 dkg butter
  • 20 dkg powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • zest of 1.5 lemons
  • 20 dkg apricot jam
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 20 dkg dark chocolate
  • 25 dkg flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
 

PREPARATION

    We start with the dough; I add the baking powder, salt, 10 dkg ground walnuts to the flour, and mix thoroughly.

    Cream the butter with the sugar, mix in the eggs, then the flour and walnut mixture, combine thoroughly and pour into a greased/floured Bundt cake tin.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes. Baking time may vary per oven, perform a skewer test.

    For the filling, mix the remaining 10 dkg ground walnuts with the apricot jam and the freshly squeezed juice and zest of half a lemon. Use this mixture to fill the cooled Bundt cake.

    Drizzle the filled cake with melted chocolate and refrigerate for at least one hour.
