About the manufacturer

The Kőbánya brewery, opened in 1854, became Hungary's first brewery that still produces today - as the factory of Dreher Breweries Ltd. In the mid-19th century, Antal Dreher introduced the bottom-fermentation brewing technology and developed a new type of beer: Lagerbier. Later, thanks to this, he received the honorary title of "King of Beer", and this became the basis of the great Dreher beers.

Dreher has been successful at numerous international fairs and exhibitions since its inception, including winning a gold medal at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition. The members of the product family regularly receive prestigious awards at international beer competitions.
