Lorenzo Red Lentil

Cereale Lorenzo red lentil is a nutrient-rich, high-protein side dish or main course ingredient. Lentils have been known and cultivated since ancient times. Red lentils are easier to digest than brown and green varieties. The most common way to prepare them is as a stew. They can also be used in a variety of ways as a side dish, in one-pot dishes, pâtés and salads.

Preparation

Soften the red lentils by soaking them. Drain, then pour fresh water over them, season to taste and cook for 15-20 minutes.
