Nau Mai Marlborough: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

Nau Mai Sauvignon is a fresh and aromatic white wine from Marlborough, in the northern part of New Zealand's South Island. Its aroma is reminiscent of gooseberries and tropical flavours such as mango and passion fruit. Fresh, refreshing, fruity and crisp taste, with a juicy finish. It combines excellently with summer salads, goat cheese, asparagus.

Producer information

New Zealand is an emerging market in the wine sector, despite its short appearance, it has achieved remarkable success and gained great international reputation. Its extended growing season, the ability of the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, and its windy, cool climate create a great combination for ideal grape growing conditions. In the 1990s, the number of wineries tripled in New Zealand, and the country doubled the area devoted to viticulture. The hallmark of wines on this land is Sauvignon Blanc for white wines and Pinot Noir for reds. The country's winemaking future is very promising, and it has a great chance of becoming one of the world's best wine cultures.
