Francesco Antonio Balocco was born in Narzole in 1903. He was the son of a clever shopkeeper who owned a confectionery and grocery store on the town's main street. In 1923, Francesco Antonio, together with his brother Alfredo, opened his first pastry shop on Via Marconi, in Fossano. From here the story begins and continues to this day.
