In 1992, the joint-stock company A MILEX Slovakia, a. s. was established, founded from the state-owned dairy company MILEX. In the same year, the RAcionálny JOgurt (Rational Yogurt), which later gave the company the name RAJO, was born. In 1996, the company's general meeting approved the new name of the company: The name was chosen based on one of the successful products in the MILEX portfolio - a low-fat yogurt called RAJO. Rajo yogurt had been in the Milex production program since 1991 and was a well-known and popular product at that time, which is why this name was chosen for the new company name.
