Royalsekt Zrt. is a 100% Hungarian-owned company that uses exclusively Hungarian raw materials. The company's sparkling wine cellar, which is one of the largest such plants in Europe, also plays an integrator role in securing domestic raw materials. It encourages grape growers by paying advances and guaranteeing the purchase of production, which is why they can work with raw materials from which they can produce truly high-quality products. Royalsekt Zrt. operates based on the centuries-old traditions of Izsák grape and wine culture.

This culture became truly fruitful in the last third of the 1800s, when the special local grape variety, the Izsák sárfehér, was born, which is now an origin-protected Hungarian heritage under the name Arany sárfehér. Based on this, the people of Izsák built up the local wine culture, of which sparkling wine production has also been a part since 1972 thanks to the development work of the Izsák State Farm.

Royalsekt Zrt. in Izsák and the Ungor family, which operates one of the largest winemaking plants in Europe, have built on these traditions. Pál Ungor Sr. started his family business in 1985, within which they marketed wine produced from grapes grown on their own estate. A decade later, he also involved his two sons in the family business, which already operated as Ungor és Ungor Borház Kft., as one of the region's significant grape purchasers and processors. The family business bought Royalsekt Zrt. in 2009, including the associated plant. Almost 300 people now work in the plant, which then operated with 60 employees.
