Primátor IPA

Special English-style top-fermented amber beer. Strongly bitter taste, with fruity aroma and flavour. Back in the day, in England, beer was preserved by multiple hopping. This way, it could reach overseas destinations. The brewmaster uses four types of malt and nine types of hops for the IPA. Round malty flavour, fine hoppy bitterness, which gradually increases and a distinct fruity-resinous tone, which takes the drinker to the Far East. It should not be chilled too much, 10-13 ˚C is the ideal temperature.

Producer information

The brewery producing Primátor beers was built in 1872 in Náchod, Czech Republic, and the first beer was brewed a year later. In 1935, the newly produced 12° dark beer, “Náchodský Primátor”, was registered as a trademark in the brewery, which has since been referred to only as “PRIMÁTOR”.

Currently, there are 17 types of beer in their permanent offer and they also launch 2-3 limited edition beers every year. The beers are sold in their own, uniquely shaped bottles. They brew approximately 120 thousand hectolitres of beer per year.

In 2013, the brewery received the prestigious “World's Best Beer” title from the WBA.
