Producer information
On the outskirts of Újpest, in an industrial area, is Hungary's first distillery that exclusively produces handcrafted, London dry gin. This is where Opera Gin is made, Budapest's new, premium drink.
For the First Hungarian Gin Manufactory, it was important that the gin's main spice, juniper berries, come from domestic production, from a high-quality procurement source. In developing their own recipe, they used such special spices as angelica root, cinnamon, cloves, or coriander.
