Further cultivation measures and the harvest are checked on site by TEEKANNE employees. The company places great emphasis on a holistic production concept that takes into account the needs of people, nature and the environment in equal measure. Special soil analyses enable experts to make recommendations, e.g. on fertilisation. Plant protection products are only used when necessary and then only with active ingredients approved by the EU. The processing of the harvested leaves, including wilting, rolling, fermentation, drying and storage, takes place according to rules and processes defined by TEEKANNE. TEEKANNE carries out regular checks to ensure compliance with strict environmental and hygiene regulations
