This variety is a true Badacsony curiosity: it requires a lot of attention and is not an easy case, but it repays all the care and good vintage several times over. It gives an unforgettable, incomparable wine, which matures for a long time and is constantly changing. Its flowery scent when young increasingly evokes yellow fruits as time goes on – but never pushes itself into the foreground. The natural, markedly mineral taste notes are accompanied by a firm acid backbone. A true terroir wine – in the unmistakable Laposa style.

Producer information

Our family is primarily engaged in traditional, local grape varieties, which grow in the best areas of the volcanic hills. The wines are surrounded by restaurants, where in addition to tastings, exciting flavors and programs await all visitors to Badacsony all year round. In the center of Badacsony, in the Hableány, the wines are made a stone's throw away in the show winery, where we present the phases of winemaking during a tour in the tank room – a champagne factory has also found a place in the cellar. On the terrace of the Laposa Estate, on the side of Badacsony, the most beautiful panorama of Lake Balaton unfolds before you while you taste.

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark, closed place, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
