Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva
Crafted in Guatemala, Zacapa Rum embodies patience, quality and masterful blending. Instead of molasses, it uses the "virgin honey" from the first press of sugar cane. It is then aged high in the Quetzaltenango highlands, 2,300 meters above sea level, in barrels that previously held whiskies and fine wines. Zacapa Rum is known for its complex flavors and character. As rums go, this is a work of art.

Rum Old Fashioned Style: Classic cocktail for special occasions
Ingredients
- 40 ml Ron Zacapa Centenario 23,
- Angostura bitter,
- 1 sugar cube,
- 1 cherry,
- 1 orange slice.
Place the sugar cube in a glass, then drip the Angostura bitter on it, pour some of the rum on it, then stir until the sugar dissolves. Once it is dissolved properly add the ice and while stirring add the rest of the rum. When ready, garnish with orange zest or cocktail cherry.
Serving suggestion
Its soft, smoky flavor is best enjoyed neat, in a snifter glass. Swirl and savor its taste until the very last sip.

The small town of Zacapa is located 229 meters above sea level, in the eastern part of Guatemala. The town was founded in 1876, as a stop on the Puerto Barrios - Guatemala City railway. Many travelers pass through this bustling town from all over the world, which is also reflected in the unique variety of surnames found locally. When the town celebrated the 100th anniversary of its foundation in 1976, Guatemala's leading rum producer knew that it had to commemorate this historic event. This is how Ron Zacapa Centenario was born, a premium drink that draws on the expert traditions of Guatemalan rum making.
