Producer information

One of Japan's largest and oldest whisky producers was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, also known as the father of Japanese whisky. During his studies in Scotland, he learned the science of whisky making as a guest worker at three authentic Scottish distilleries, which he put to use back home. Since then, the brand has rightfully taken its place in the public consciousness as a producer of premium spirits that maintain consistent quality.
