Very good shelf life, it can easily last for two weeks in the home after purchase without spoiling, and even longer in the refrigerator. However, for its vitamin content, consume it as soon as possible.

The Pink Lady® apple was born in 1973. Discover the history of this apple and the unique people who grow it! In 1973, a particularly inspired Australian researcher, John Cripps, crossed a Golden Delicious with a Lady Williams: thus the Cripps Pink variety was born! In 1994-1995, the first trees of the variety were planted in southeastern France, then in the Loire Valley and the southwest of Europe. Passionate nursery owners, growers, and distributors join the Pink Lady® Europe association, which organizes the network. In 1997, sophisticated specifications defining the premium quality of the variety were developed, which are marketed under the Pink Lady® brand name. In 1998-1999, Italian and Spanish growers joined the Pink Lady® adventure. In 2014, the PinKids® apple was first launched to delight the youngest, in order to promote the entire production. In 2016, the Pink Lady® Foundation was established, supporting women-led entrepreneurial projects. In 2020, Pink Lady® launched its commitment charter, integrating the three pillars of sustainable development (environmental, social, and economic issues).
