The Irsai Olivér Gyöngyözőbor 2024 is made from the popular Irsai Olivér grape variety, from the 2024 vintage, with mild, refreshing bubbles (frizzante style). This wine combines the characteristic aromas of the variety with the light, playful character of frizzante wines.

• Vintage: Irsai Olivér frizzante wines from the 2024 vintage typically appear on the market already in spring, freshly bottled to preserve their primeur, fresh character. Irsai Olivér is an early-ripening variety, so the harvest also takes place relatively early.
• The Variety: Irsai Olivér is a Hungarian-bred, extremely aromatic grape variety. Its wines have a recognizably intense aroma and taste.
• The Type: Frizzante wine has a fine, mild carbonation, which enhances the wine's freshness and liveliness. This carbonation mostly comes from artificially added CO₂.

About the Producer

Skrabski Winery is located in Balatonudvari on Les-hegy, where wines are made in a 150-year-old cellar under the guidance of winemaker Réka Szántai, combining traditional winemaking with modern technology. They place great emphasis on utilizing the terroir, which gives their wines a unique flavor profile. Their wines are organically certified and, uniquely in Hungary, have extremely low histamine content.
