Then the successful products PURINA Dog Chow and PURINA® Cat Chow were created. In 1985, Nestlé acquired the successful FRISKIES brand.
In 1998, the DARLING brand became the property of Nestlé, and a pet food factory was established in Bük with an investment of 6 billion HUF, which has been producing dry and wet pet food ever since - the first in Hungary. The Bük factory is currently Nestlé PURINA's largest pet food factory in Europe.
