Every year, more than 110 million liters of excellent quality milk, sourced exclusively from Hungarian dairy farms, are processed in their plants in Barcs, Hajdúböszörmény and Kőröstetétlen, while processed cheeses are produced in Kacsóta, Baranya county. The company produces 40,000 tons of cheese annually, which is equivalent to almost half of the Hungarian cheese consumption.

The Hajdú brand is the flagship of the Kőröstej group. The name has a long history in the Hungarian dairy industry, as the Hajdú County Dairy Company, founded in 1957, was one of the largest Hungarian dairy companies until the transformation following the regime change. Thus, the "Hajdú" brand name has been a household name in Hungary for more than 50 years.
