In 1992, MILEX Slovakia, a. s. was established as a joint-stock company from the state-owned dairy company MILEX. In the same year, RAcionálny JOgurt (Rational Yogurt), later named RAJO, was born. In 1996, the company's general meeting approved the new name of the company: The name was chosen based on one of the successful products in the MILEX portfolio - a low-fat yogurt called RAJO. Rajo yogurt had been in the Milex production program since 1991 and was a well-known and popular product at that time, which is why this name was chosen for the new company name.
