About the brand
The founder of the brand, Gyula Sebő, aimed to create equipment that would allow the owner and the dog to spend as much time together as possible. This is where the Julius-K9® brand was founded and the production of dog harnesses began. He founded his company in 1997, and by 2003 the K9 dog harnesses were a huge success at the Dortmund exhibition. Sebő believes that the harnesses he designs will become a lifelong product for dogs.
Where does the brand name come from?
- Julius: the German equivalent of Gyula Sebő's first name
- K9: Julius Sebő got his first dog at Kele u. 9. in Budapest, and the company's first site also operated at number 9 in Vienna (Langobarden Str. 9.)
