About the brand

In a small laboratory at the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering of the 'Dunarea de Jos' University of Galați, three food engineering students, together with their professor, created something extraordinary: an organic, lactose-free ice cream made from whey.
Inspired by the challenge of reducing food waste and providing healthy alternatives, the girls used whey, a byproduct of milk production, as the main ingredient. To enhance the flavor, they added cream and local fruits, ensuring the production of a sustainable and delicious product.

This invention offered a nutritious, organic alternative, ideal for those with lactose intolerance, while also reducing their environmental impact. Their ice cream quickly gained attention and won an award for its innovative approach to reducing food waste and promoting sustainable ingredients. The success was not just a simple delicacy but became a symbol of the great impact small, well-thought-out ideas can have. With the support of their professor, the students proved that science, creativity, and a love for nature can create something that is both delicious and impactful.
